Youth Program Coordinator - Summerside

We are looking for an individual, living in Prince County, who is community-minded and passionate about creating inclusive spaces for youth in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. This position will be based out of our Summerside office, and will include some evening work and occasional work on weekends. At PEERS Alliance, our work is based in trauma-informed practice and harm reduction. We serve people of all genders and sexual orientations, and work for the safety and thriving of 2SLGBTQIA+ people in Epekwitk. Our programming strives to address the underlying issues affecting the health and welfare of our communities by countering stigma and creating environments where all are welcome. In all our work we strive to be anti-racist. We support those living with and at risk for HIV, Hep C and all sexually transmitted and bloodborne infections by offering a variety of programs and services targeted to diverse communities in PEI.
