Get Involved

There are many meaningful ways to get involved with PEERS Alliance. No matter how you show your support, you will make a difference in your community and in the lives of people and families on Prince Edward Island.

Support PEERS Alliance through monetary contributions. Please give generously.

PEERS Alliance is celebrating 30 years of service here on PEI! Can you believe it? We incorporated as an organization in October of 1990 and over the last three decades, the organization has grown a lot, and helped a lot. To continue providing services and programs to Island communities, we need your help!

So, we have exciting news to share: we’ve launched a brand-new fundraising campaign, “Spread the Love”! We are asking folks to donate to PEERS Alliance to help us celebrate our thirtieth anniversary. With the ultimate goal of $10,000, funds raised from this initiative will help offset the costs of the essential services and programs we offer right here on PEI and help us continue the work we do for the next thirty years!

How It Works

You can sign up to be a monthly donor at PEERS Alliance or provide a one-time donation all through our Canada Helps page. All donations help us achieve our ultimate goal of raising $10000! We appreciate every single one of you who are willing to help PEERS Alliance provide services and programs in our communities.

To thank our donors, each month for the next year we will have a monthly prize draw! For every $10 donation increment you made, your name will be entered into the monthly draw. At the end of each month, we will draw one lucky winner on Facebook Live. For example, if you donate $50 in December, your name will be entered five times! Note: only those who donate within that month are entered into the draw. For example, if you make a one-time donation in January, you are only entered into January’s draw; however, if you make monthly donations (minimum of $10), you will be entered into every month’s draw!

Third party fundraising involves independent projects undertaken by an individual, affiliated group or organization, for the purpose of raising funds for, or on behalf of PEERS Alliance. Third party events can be as small or as big as you like. They can range from a bake sale, golf tournament, open mic night, etc. If you have an idea, we'd love to hear it!

Third party fundraisers supported by PEERS Alliance must meet the following preliminary criteria:
  • Initiative must be designed, managed and financially resourced by the organizers
  • Organizers must support the mission, values, and community action principles of PEERS Alliance
  • Spaces must be inclusive and accessible to the general public
    • 19+ events are acceptable
